191、    Block up 垫高
A: Not the engine, I think it’s the wheels.
B: Maybe we have to block up the rear wheel. Fortunately we’ve got a spare wheel.
A: 不是发动机的毛病，我觉得是轮胎。
B: 我们得把后轮垫起来，好歹我们有个备用胎。

192、    Take a licking 遭受挫折，遭受惨败
A: Our team really took a licking in last night’s game.
B: Don’t lose heart.
A: 我们队昨晚比赛输了。
B: 别灰心。

194、    Start a family 生第一个孩子
A: When do you hope to start a family?
B: Not till I get my master’s degree.

210、    Fell left out 感到受了冷落

B：We don’t want you feel left out, you know.

212、    Crocodile tears 假慈悲
A：What do you think of that guy?
B：To be frank, I don’t like him.

B：His wife passed away last week. At that time he wept a few crocodile tears and now he’s preparing for his wedding again.
A：你认为那个家伙怎么样？
B：坦率地说，我不喜欢他。
A：为什么？

B：She nursed a viper in her bosom. Her best friend Lucy framed her in. Lucy first seduced her husband and then trapped her.

B：她是姑息养奸。她的好友露西算计了她。露西先是勾引了她的丈夫而后又陷害她。
